Monster Rally has been one of my favorites for a while now, I’m a huge fan of the psychedelic feel of the laid back tropical atmosphere I imagine through his songs. He is originally from Cleveland, and now lives in L.A. I just bought that cup from the man behind the music – Ted Feighan, and can’t wait to drink hot bean water from it.

This video, shot in Shanghai Daning Lingshi Park during the Tulip Festival March – April 2018 perfectly embodies the feeling of Monster Rally’s music for me.
Lachlan Turczan is the Photographer and Director on the video, which according to an article on booooooom.com: “Filmed… during this year’s Tulip Festival, Lachlan woke up at 6am everyday for 2 weeks in order to document the morning routines of the Shanghainese — which he then set to Monster Rally’s track “Let’s Go Faraway.” As Lachlan describes:
“It seemed that spring had just sprung in Shanghai and the whole city was taking advantage of the great weather. Everyone was incredibly gracious and open to sharing their practice with me.”
