I read that starting out you wanted to sound like Neon Indian. What’s your favorite song or album by them?

All the albums are fantastic, but Psychic Chasms is truly special and reminds me of a really good time in my life. One of my favorite albums.

I saw you mention Laura Nyro online. What album should I check out first?

Probably Eli and the 13th Confession is probably the one to check out first. Although Gonna Take a Miracle is perhaps a little more accessible to the casual listener. But her music generally demands more than a casual listen.

How do you relax when you’re stressed out? Go skate.

What inspires you? Great chess players before the invention of computers.
