Jordan sent me Oliver’s remix earlier and it made me research the sample, next I came upon the swell remix thinking that it was the original. which led me to finding the vine video of the original, thank you for sharing this Jordan!

Surprisingly the first time I ever heard this was not the original, it was a sample from a Talib Kweli & Z-Trip song that my friend Eben showed me. Speaking of Eben… I have him to thank for probably over half of the music I now listen to, he showed me so much amazing music, and I thank him so much for that. Love you bud! Hopefully someday soon I’ll hear you knockin’ at my door.

Here’s the Talib Kweli & Z-Trip song I first heard this from. The sample starts at about 2:20, there are a lot of great classic rock samples in this album. I don’t think this is the best song on the album or even close. So if you don’t like it I still definitely recommend checking out the whole album if you like Hip-Hop because it is a 5 star album in my opinion.
